Hello Ladies!

I just moved to Hawaii in August and I live in Ewa Beach. I'm a SAHM and am looking for my son to have some playdates or join a playgroup. I feel bad all he has to play with is boring old mom. Haha. It's been mostly just me him and daddy for the past year in our transition from AZ to CT and finally here so I want to get him to socialize more. I'm also a bit worried about his speech and am hoping that having him around other kids will help. I'd also like to meet some more moms and have some time to talk to an adult. haha. Oh, my son is 20 months and very active. He's very much a boy, always wanting to run jump and play.M y schedule is pretty much open but morning is best, before his nap, get him nice and tired.

You've come to the right place to make friends for both you and your son =)

Are you pretty familiar with the island? There is a play group that meets every Thursday and another group that goes to Koolina every Friday!

Hey Jessica! Welcome to Hawaii!!!! I live down in Ewa Beach and am a SAHM for now...till I can find a job! I'm out with my little 10 month old daughter every morning running...perhaps we could meet up with you sometime at a playground down here...there's the big one at Geiger Park and some smaller ones in the individual neighborhoods. I also try to go to storytime at the Kapolei Public Library on Thursdays at 10AM if you ever want to meet us there! We're always glad to meet new friends!

Hi jessica- my youngest is 17 months and he's handful- but he mimics his older brother who's 3. Btw if youre concerned about his speech, check out easter seals 0-3 project- they really helped out my 3 year old and got him in preschoool as soon as he turned 3, all free. My son is talking a lot more and more understandable. we live in kapolei so if you get bored sometime let me know im usually free in the mornings.

ALOHA MAMA!!! you came to the right place, there are lots of mamas who resides on that side, i myself is one of them. The playgroups that i usually go to when i have a chance is at Central Oahu Regional Park @ Waipio on thursdays from 10-12p and the kids varies different ages, my son is going to turn 2 and every fridays like what BAAM mentioned at Ko Olina Beach Lagoon 4 which is the last one, i think around 8:30am till i guess when ever. Hopefully there will be a playgroup on that side soon.
