DD is from a previous marriage and I have DS and another OTW with DH. We have joint physical custody of DD and have to "share" her every other weekend and more during school breaks as well...

Of course I miss DD when she's gone, even when it's just for a few days. The house is so quiet, since there's only DS.

Of course she's gone right now, and I'm wondering, if you have to "share" your keiki how do you get through the time?

I just try to keep myself busy, so the time passes quickly and my baby comes home again...

are there any other coping methods out there?

I give u props mama 4 dealing w/it (however u can), its hard to do I know...in the past I've let the kids go w/their dad sometimes on the weekend (yrs ago) but I felt SO LONELY! I didn't know what to do w/me...I think I would go to da beach...but I didn't have another family like u. I dont have any advice cuz my ex has supervised visits (thank GOD) so the kids cant just go w/him but I know I'm selfish I dont like to share them...then when I have them all da time I wish I had a break lol. Its good for the kids if they have healthy relationships w/their dads, assuming they do. I guess u can give more one-on-one attention to ur son. My kids love when I do something w/just one of them, they feel so special & paid attention to, which is hard when I got 3 of them & 1 of me. I'd do something that makes me feel good, listen to the radio loud...sing...dance... read a book, exercise...good luck mama

Never regret anything cuz at one time it was exactly what you wanted
